א- במעגל הטורי עוצמת הזרם דרך כל הנורות היא זהה ושווה לזרם המקור.

       נחשב את עוצמת הזרם הדרושה כדי שהנורה תאיר באורה המלא, נשתמש בחוק אוהם על הנורה:

ב- במעגל המקבילי המתח על הנורות זהה ושווה למתח ההדקים של הסוללה. 

      נחשב בעזרת ביטוי מתח ההדקים את עוצמת זרם המקור עבורה מתח ההדקים יהיה 3 וולט(מתח הנורה).

עוצמת הזרם דרך כל נורה  צריך להיות 2 אמפר. מכיוון שזרם המקור חייב להיות 6 אמפר, יש לחבר שלוש נורות במקביל.

ג- בכל אחד משני המעגלים ההספק המתקבל הוא סכום הספקי שלושת הנורות. וההספק המושקע הוא הספק המקור.
