4.  حساب الدفع الذي يشغله الجسم 2 على الجسم 1. 

 حسب القانون الثالث لنيوتن، القوة التي يشغلها الجسم 2 على الجسم 1 تساوي القوة التي يشغلها الجسم 1 على الجسم 2 ، ولكن في الاتجاه المعاكس ، وبالتالي فإن الدفع يساوي:
