الشغل الكهربائي يساوي حاصل ضرب التوتر الذي تتحرك خلاله الشحنة في مقدار الشحنة. لذلك فإن شغل المصدر الكهربائي يساوي حاصل ضرب القوة الدافعة الكهربائية للبطارية في كمية الشحنة المنقولة
